Interpreter Program            

 

The Seventh Judicial District will schedule quarterly trainings for new interpreters interested in participating in this program.  The training will consist of a two-day training for new interpreters and a uniform set of rules and procedures.  Please submit your application and all applicants will be contacted once training information is available.

Minimum qualifications for Interpreters:

  • Must be at least 21 years old;
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak both languages;
  • Must have formal (2 day) training provided by the 7th District;
  • Must not have been convicted of any felonies; and
  • Must be state certified
